The Universe

Sin
Our world is under the sway of sin as a result of a historical and personal rebellion against God. Suffering, death, and separation from God are the experience of humankind. Without the intervention of God’s grace, this will be the eternal state of all persons.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World. He is the one and only incarnate Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, sacrificed his life on a cross, rose from the dead, and ascended into heaven. Through his infinite grace, he offers new life to all who receive him by faith.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, who dwells in believers, gives them a desire and ability to follow biblical standards of conduct in their personal lives and society.
The Bible
The Bible, the inspired and infallible Word of God, is our final authority for faith and Christian living.
The Christian Faith
The Christian faith is lived in the community of the church, where worship and witness are embodied through the spiritual gifts of its members.
